BY TRAIN
Bronxville is 28 minutes from Grand Central Station – Take the Harlem Line Train to North White Plains. Get off in Bronxville.
BY CAR
FROM NEW YORK CITY (EAST SIDE)
– North on FDR Drive (East Side Dr) to Willis Avenue Bridge. Bear left to Major Deegan Highway which becomes the New York State Thruway (I-87). Take Exit 4 to the Cross County Parkway East to the Bronx River Parkway* North. Exit Paxton Avenue, turn left off ramp, proceed to stop light, turn right onto Palmer Rd. Follow "A" below.
FROM NEW YORK CITY (WEST SIDE)
– North on West Side Drive which becomes the Henry Hudson Parkway to the Cross County Parkway East, stay to the right to the Bronx River Parkway North*. Exit Paxton Avenue, turn left off ramp, proceed to stop light, turn right onto Palmer Rd. Follow "A" below.
FROM NEW JERSEY
– Take the George Washington Bridge (stay right on the upper level, left on the lower level) to the Henry Hudson Parkway North which becomes the Saw Mill River Parkway to the Cross County Parkway East, stay to the right to the Bronx River Parkway North*. Exit Paxton Avenue, turn left off ramp, proceed to stop light, turn right onto Palmer Rd. Follow "A" below.
FROM NORTHERN NEW JERSEY AND ROCKLAND COUNTY
– Take the Tappan Zee Bridge to Route 287 (Cross Westchester Expressway) to the Sprain Brook Parkway South (Sprain Pkwy). Get off at Rte.100 (Central Avenue), turn right off ramp, go under the bridge and take an immediate right up to Palmer Avenue. Go right on Palmer and follow into Bronxville. Follow "A" below.
FROM CONNECTICUT
– South on the Merritt Parkway which becomes the Hutchinson River Parkway to the Cross County Parkway West to the Bronx River Parkway North. Exit Paxton Avenue, turn left off ramp, proceed to stop light, turn right onto Palmer Rd. Follow "A" below.

From Connecticut – South on the Connecticut Turnpike (I-95) to the Cross Westchester Expressway West (Rte 287) to the Hutchinson River Parkway to the Cross County Parkway West to the Bronx River Parkway North. Exit Paxton Avenue, turn left off ramp, proceed to stop light, turn right onto Palmer Rd. Follow "A" below.
FROM THE BRONX
– Take the Hutchinson River Parkway North to the Cross County Parkway West to the Bronx River Parkway North. Exit Paxton Avenue, turn left off ramp, proceed to stop light, turn right onto Palmer Rd. Follow "A" below.
FROM QUEENS, LONG ISLAND LAGUARDIA AND KENNEDY AIRPORTS
– Take the Whitestone Bridge to the Hutchinson River Parkway to the Cross County Parkway West to the Bronx River Parkway North. Exit Paxton Avenue, turn left off ramp, proceed to stop light, turn right onto Palmer Rd. Follow "A" below.
FROM NORTHERN WESTCHESTER
– Take the Sprain Brook Parkway South (Sprain Pkwy). Get off at Rte. 100 (Central Avenue), turn right off ramp, go under the bridge and take an immediate right up to Palmer Avenue. Go right on Palmer and follow into Bronxville. Follow "A" below.
Note: The Saw Mill River Parkway south, The Taconic State Parkway South and the Cross Westchester Expressway (I-87) East or West will all lead you to the Sprain Brook Parkway.
"A" At the traffic circle on Palmer Road, go under the underpass (Palmer becomes Pondfield Road here). Houlihan Lawrence is the white brick and shingle house with green shutters on your left. It is on the corner of Pondfield Rd and Valley Rd.
* The Bronx River Pkwy closes to vehicular traffic from Westchester County Center in White Plains south to below Bronxville exits on Sundays – MAY to SEPTEMBER – except Holiday weekends – from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for bicycling. IN THIS CASE: Exit the Cross County Parkway at Columbus Avenue (Rte 22), go north (left to Pondfield Rd. (2nd light), turn left onto Pondfield Rd. and continue through 5 lights. Houlihan Lawrence in one block from the fifth light on your right.
