The Village of Tuckahoe, located in the Town of Eastchester, began as a farming community and was later famous for its beautiful marble. The Tuckahoe Marble Quarry was a major marble producer for the world. Today, Tuckahoe offers residents a strong sense of community and is a highly sought-after place to live. It has a diverse mix of housing, from quaint, affordable homes, condo and rental apartments to luxury housing. There are a variety of shops and wonderful restaurants. It is centrally located, close to Manhattan as well as White Plains and there are two Metro North train stations located in the village.
